Session Description 

At the 2014 Ed-Fi Summit, participants voiced a general request for stronger governance structures and community input for the Ed-Fi Data Standard. This session will briefly review the progress made in the past year, continue the conversation about what kinds of structures and inputs make sense for Ed-Fi standards, and gather input to move these efforts into 2016.

The session will have two parts. First, we will briefly review some community norms and models for governance, and consider what investments by the Ed-Fi Alliance and Ed-Fi community are needed to make them work. Most of the session will be spent in breakouts designed to gather input from summit participants, which will shape next steps in governance.
