This documentation serves as an introduction to the features and significant changes made for the Ed-Fi ODS / API for Suite 3 v5.3.

This release is aligned to Ed-Fi Data Standard v3.3.1-b. There are no breaking API or JSON model changes accompanying this release of the ODS / API. However, platform hosts should be aware that there are some breaking database changes, as well as breaking changes to build and deployment pipelines. In addition this release requires implementers to update to MetaEd v2.6. See What's New in v5.3 for details.
