Introduction
This documentation serves as an introduction to the latest features and significant changes made for the Ed-Fi ODS / API v2.0. There are a number of new features including a profile-based means of controlling access to the API, alignment between the data model used by the ODS / API and the Ed-Fi Data Standard v2.0, as well as support for inserting and updating Ed-Fi Descriptors through the API.
This release also includes additional supporting tools for managing security and rolls up a large number of improvements and bug fixes contributed by early adopters.

This documentation is for technical professionals who work with educational data, including business analysts, database administrators, and software developers.
Prerequisites
